Dr. Dane McFarland has been freeing people from pain in his clinic in Austin, TX. As a Chiropractor with experience, Dr. McFarland is committed to promoting the health and well being of his patients.
Dr. McFarland uses a "whole person approach". This approach to wellness means looking for underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption (which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time) and make whatever interventions and lifestyle adjustments that would optimize the conditions for normal function. Using this unique approach, Dr. McFarland is able to help you to accelerate and/or maintain your journey to good health.
Bio
Dr. McFarland received his BSc in Exercise Science from the University
of Connecticut in 1995 and
became licensed as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National
Strength and Conditioning Association. Using his education he was able to rehabilitate and condition many athletes and non-athletes alike by working in
various sports medicine clinics and fitness centers throughout the Austin
area.
Always looking to increase his knowledge in regards to personal health, he became a Registered Massage Therapist and shortly thereafter
entered into the Chiropractic studies.
Dr. McFarland graduated from Texas Chiropractic College
in 2006 and has worked diligently throughout the years to contstantly add new dimensions to his understanding of the human body. He is certified as a Chiropractic Sports Physician, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Applied Clinical Nutritionist. He has accumulated over 120 hours in
Quantum Neurology studies and is board eligible for Medical Acupuncture. He
continues to study; Kinesio-Taping, Functional Endocrinology, Functional Blood
Chemistry Analysis, Contact Reflex Analysis, Applied Kinesiology, Hormone
Balancing in Cycling and Pre/Post Menopausal Women, Bone and Joint Health, Fulford Percussive
Technique, Extraspinal Subluxation/Muscle Syndrome Correlations, Nutrition
Response Testing and Advanced Practical Nutrition.
